An individual-based elephant monitoring platform developed by the Centre for Eco-Cultural Studies (CES) to systematically identify, document, and monitor individual elephants and elephant herds. The platform integrates long-term photographic identification, demographic records, behavioural observations, herd composition, social associations, seasonal movements and home range patterns, and population-level analyses to generate scientific evidence on elephant ecology, population dynamics, and conservation management.
